Simple, classic, elegant -- that's my style. I love to spend time at the beach here in Westchester County, NY with my husband and our three daughters -- and I want the casual chic of my everyday wardrobe to be reflected in my swimwear. But the more I shopped for bathing suits and coordinating cover-ups, the more disappointed I became. The easy-to-wear beach clothes that I dreamed of, as simple and beautiful as a seaside afternoon, were nowhere to be found.
So I decided to design them myself.
A skirt that works at the water's edge, then ducks into town for lunch. A length that flatters, and gives me the coverage I want; a fabric that dries quickly -- and never, ever goes see-through. Simple, yes, but structured, too -- pretty, practical and fun.
The dune road beach skirt comes in a variety of fabrics - - solids, prints and florals. All of our products are handcrafted with care in the United States of America.
